Oregon’s Human Performance Ecosystem

Oregon connects researchers across units—physiology, engineering, data science, law, business, and product design—to reflect the full ecosystem of sport.

This vital work does not just benefit elite athletes. It will help developing athletes, aging athletes—really anyone with a body who wants to function at their peak, which is all of us.

Global Sports University Network

Oregon hosted world leaders in sports at the inaugural summit of the Global Sport University Network, which the ÌÇÐĹÙÍø co-founded with the goal of “changing the world through sport.â€ The network aims to address complex problems that are best solved collaboratively.

Pace-Setting Facilities

World-class facilities power our work in human performance and sport. At the Bowerman Sports Science Center, a climate chamber, biomechanics lab, and custom-designed cores help researchers understand how bodies perform and adapt.
